With a well-established international media and marketing platform in place which spreads across digital, broadcast and print mediums, the prospect of maximum event awareness is guaranteed.

The World Surf League Longboard Qualifying Series at the Australian Longboard Surfing Open is the blue ribbon division and as such attracts world ranked competitors and international, national and local interest from spectators and the media.

To make the most of the media attention generated by the event a media manager is appointed from the Event Freelancer to do copy, photos and distribution Australia wide.

Due to the high standard of surfing competition in the pro divisions Sportscast 24 will film each day of competition and load it live onto the Australian Longboard Open You Tube Channel. Sportscast 24 has excellent success with their TV Newsfeed system nationally and will produce a 1-2 min slated news feed for distribution across National News outlets and regional TV stations. Hawaiian and European networks are also expected to produce show surfing in northern hemisphere countries.
